We have been patients at Thameside Medical Practice for over 30 years. During that time the practice has changed immeasurably and is a totally different practice today than it was when we joined. Whilst we, as a family, have had very good GP’s during our lifetimes, Thameside today is the best practice. The doctors are excellent, the staff are a joy to deal with and we feel very lucky to have this as our local practice. Thameside is a reason not to move to a different area. Our Doctor, Dr Zeffert-Anderson, is a truly brilliant GP, nothing phases her and she always seems to have the answers to any health problems. Moreover, she’s always so friendly, kind and approachable.

The health service in this country is on its knees, however, you don’t get that impression from Thameside Medical Practice. Nothing is too much trouble and the triage system works brilliantly.

I can’t rate this practice highly enough. Every time I have contacted the practice, every single member of staff I’ve spoken to have been kind, helpful, supportive and patient. I have spoken to a number of GPs, and they have really listened, been empathetic and incredibly kind and helpful. My daughter has severe special needs and it was a GP at this practice that supported me in getting her seen by a specialist who was able to put us in touch with all the relevant services. I contact the practice online when I need to, and the response is always so quick, and helpful!! I feel so lucky and grateful to be registered at such a WONDERFUL practice. Thank you so much to all the staff there.

The very long recorded message you hear when you phone is a bit off-putting. I realise you need to explain things but maybe reorder the sequence beginning with “stay on the line if …. Otherwise please do x/y/z”.
